Fur Trimmed Coat

When I originally did my research of viking coats I found that there were two types. I am now going to go back and making the other type (see below). It kinda looks like a bathrobe if you ask me, but thats OK. It wont have buttons, but I am seeing more and more people not put buttons on the coats anyway.

The best part however is not the coat itself, but the trim of the coat. I have long read about how the vikings would make fake fur. This fake fur would resemble sheep skin, and was so dense that it was waterproof. Anyway, Thora suggests on her website that this fake fur would have been used on a coat of this type as trim. I have always wanted to make such a coat.
